"Atmanirbhar Bharat" Vocational Course Seminar
The college placement cell in association with IQAC organized one day seminar on “Atmanirbhar Bharat Vocational Courses” by Mandar Kadu, CEO Vision group of Institute, Mumbai. Principal Dr. B. M. Bahirwar presided over the function along with Prof. R. N. Nagpur, Prof. Suyog Salve. Mr. Mandar Kadu has emphasized on the higher education system has to incorporate the requirements of various industries in its curriculum, in an innovative and flexible manner while developing a holistic and well-groomed graduate. Realizing this need, the university Grants Commission (UGC) has launched a scheme on skills development based higher education as part of college/university education, leading to Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree with multiple exit and entry options to a Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, under the NSQ (National Skill Qualifications Framework). The course content is developed based on NSQF, CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) and industry requirements with the objectives to achieve holistic personality development by imparting human centric learning, to impart skill-based education and to promote entrepreneurship among students.
B.Sc. final year students were present in programme. The session ends with Q&A by the students and speakers and vote of thanks by the Mr. Suyog Salve.
Career Management Through Exams and Scholarships
The college placement cell in association with IQAC organized one day seminar on “Career Management through exams and scholarships” by Dr. P. S. Katkar on 12 February 2021. B.Sc. final year students participated in the programme. Mr. Pranab Mondal has given the detailed information about tips and tricks to crack the JAM exam. He also detailed on various competitive examination, Marking Scheme, Syllabus for IIT JAM, Go Through Good Prep Books, to prepare a Time-Table, referring of past years’ Question Papers and solving Sample Papers and Mock Tests.
Seminar on Animation Technology
The college placement cell in association with IQAC organized one day seminar on Animation technology by Mr. Abhishek Acharya, Director Dizviz Production Nagpur on 9 September 2018. All B.Sc. final year students participated in the programme. Mr. Abhishek Acharya has given the detailed information on how to create the animation. He also explains Squash and Stretch – This is the most important principle of animation, it gives the sense of weight and volume to draw an object. The student has benefited and learn about the animation technology.
Seminar on Banking/UPSC/SSC and competitive Examination
The college placement cell in association with IQAC organized one day seminar on Banking/UPSC/SSC and competitive Examination by Jai Ambe Gramin Vikas Sanstha on 4th august 2017. All B.Sc. final year students participated in the programme. The faculty form the concerned institute has guided about the various exams and tricks to qualify the exam. The students have benefited from the seminar and has gained the various tips for the different exam.
Seminar on IIT JAM exam Preparation
The college placement cell in association with IQAC organized one day seminar on by Mr. Pranab Mondal, Research Fellow, BARC Mumbai on 3 October 2019. All B.Sc. final year students participated in the programme. Mr. Pranab Mondal has given the detailed information about tips and tricks to crack the JAM exam. He also detailed on IIT JAM Marking Scheme, Syllabus for IIT JAM, Go Through Good Prep Books, to prepare a Time-Table, referring of past years’ Question Papers and solving Sample Papers and Mock Tests.
Workshop on GD-PI
To develop a scientific methodical approach to take up aptitude tests and to channelize and utilize the correct skills needed to solve most critical aptitude tests and interview. The placement cell of the college in association with IQAC organized the two day workshop on group discussion and personal interview on 12 and 13th December 2016. The resource person Dr. P. P. Dhankar and Mrs. Dr. R. P. Dhankar were the trainer. A total of 25 students were enrolled for the workshop. The students have understand the process of GD and PI and overcome the lack in confidence due to ignorance of the process.
