University Level Intercollegiate Workshop MICROBIA 2024

On 10th February 2024 Guru Nanak College of Science, Ballarpur and Sardar Patel College, Chandrapur has jointly organised university level intercollegiate workshop which is a unique way of learning Microbiology in the form MICROBIA (Festival of Microbiology). This was first attempt of Gondwana University in which 10 events have been organized, all events were showcase of hidden talent and have been a great exposure for the student. Total 13 affiliated colleges have participated in the workshop.

Following events were organized

  1. Memory Booster (Test your visual memory)
  2. 10 Second Rule (Describe the given object in 10 second)
  3. Ad Mad Show (Creative act of Microbiological process)
  4. Pictionary (Bring out the artist in you and let others guess what you have drawn)
  5. Headcruncher (Test your logic to the stupid question)
  6. Micro chef (Prepare healthy Microbial food)
  7. Micro Quiz (Competition of your Microbiology Knowledge)
  8. Sing the science (Have fun singing the science)
  9. Seminar Competition (Explore your inner Microbiologist)

Almost all the students from each semester have participated in this event and made it successful.

International Virtual Conference on Material Science and Nanotehcnology 29th-30th April 2021.

The main aim of this conference was to make everyone familiar with new researches that were being carried out in the field of material science and nanotechnology and their basic applications. The objectives of IVCMN – 2021 were to bring about the sharing of views and researches carried out by eminent researchers, scientists, scholars and technologists by bringing them together on the dice and to develop curiosity among new researchers to bring about research in this field. The conference covered healthy and useful discussion on theoretical and experimental aspects in the field of material science and nanotechnology.

The delegates present for the Inaugural Function were Sadar Nagendarji Soni, Presient, G N College of Science, Ballarpur Dr. S. A. Ladhake, Director, P.R.P.C.E.M., Dr. B.M. Bahirwar, Principal, Guru Nanak College of Science, Ballarpur, Dr. A.V. Kale, Principal, P.R.P.C.E.M. Dr. A. V. Nande, Dr. N. R. Thakare, Dr. A. D. Bhoyar and other delicates, academician, scientists and students.  The Chief Guest of the Function was Dr. Ashok V. Joshi from USA and Prof. S.J. Dhoble, R T M Nagpur University, Nagpur. The function began with Guruprathana Stotra sung by Prof. Gauri Deshpande and Dr. Smita Patil. The Delegates were welcomed on this auspicious moment. The Convener of the Conference ,  Dr. Amol Nande gave the Introductory speech.  After this, Dr. Siddharth Ladhake addressed the participants.  He gave his positive inputs regarding the conference in his speech.  After this, Dr. A. V. Kale and Dr. B. M. Bahirwar  expressed their best wishes for the successful execution of the conference. A brief introduction of the keynote speaker of the conference, Dr.  Ashok Joshi was given by Dr. Shobha Gaikwad. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Nilesh Thakare.

International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research 

The main purpose of organizing the international webinar is to provide a platform for interaction and collaboration amongst the eminent professionals, researchers and scholars of different fields from both academia and industry to discuss and to share the state of the art development in recent trends in Science and Technology. Guru Nanak College of Science, Ballarpur organized One Day International Webinar (Virtual Webinar) on “Multidisciplinary Research” IWMR-2021 on Saturday 13th March 2021 online webinar on Google Meet and you tube. 

Convenor of the conference Dr. Jyotsna V. Khobragade, Aaaistant Professor, Chemistry welcomes all the participants, organizers, Hon’ble members of Management and Hon’ble speakers. She gave introduction on the international webinar, and explains the importance of the webinar to academic fraternity.

Co-ordinator of the conference Prof. P. B. Ghode, HOD, Chemistry welcomes all the participants. He gave his introductory remarks on importance of organization of International online webinar in this pandemic situation, and also appreciated to management and principals.

In the First Technical Session, Hon’ble Prof. Gladys Completo, Institute of Chemistry, University of Philippines Los Banos, Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines delivered a scientific talk on ‘ Role of Glycans in Tuberculosis and Human milk.

In the Second Technical Session, Hon’ble Dr. Tofida Mohhmmed Kabir, Instit Federal Collage of Education, Zaria Kaduna State, Nigeria delivered a scientific talk on ‘Effect of Viscous Dissipation on steady Natural Convection Couette Flow in Vertical Plates’.

In the Third Technical Session, Hon’ble Prof. Wasudeo Gurnule, Department of Chemistry, Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, India. He delivered a scientific talk on “Nanotechnology and its Impact on Society”. He has explained to all the participants how to approach lively before the students and researches lively by using recent technologies during this pandemic situation.

चंद्रपुर शहर दिनांक 03 अप्रेल 2021: महाराष्ट्र राज्य कनिष्ठ महाविद्यालय हिंदी अध्यापक संघ ,नागपुर विभाग के तत्वावधान में जिला चंद्रपुर द्वारा अंतर राष्ट्रीय वेबिनार का आयोजन गुगल मीट द्वारा सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ।वेबिनार  का विषय था,, नारी है उम्मीद की किरण।अंतरराष्ट्रीय वेबिनार की प्रमुख अतिथी एवं वक्ता  प्रा फिरोजा  कुरैशी ,कॅनडा से तथा कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता महाराष्ट्र राज्य क॰म॰हिंदी अध्यापक संघ के राज्य अध्यक्ष डाॅ.मिलिंद कांबळे,बारामती से जुडे थे।कार्यक्रम मे प्रमुख रूप से राज्य सचिव प्रा रेवणनाथ कर्डिले ,राज्य कार्याध्यक्ष प्रा सुंदर लोढे,नागपुर विभाग अध्यक्ष डाॅ विनोद डोमकावले प्रमुख रूप से उपस्थित रहे। अंतरराष्ट्रीय वेबिनार के अवसर पर प्रा फिरोजा कुरैशी ने विश्व की समस्त नारियो की शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, सुरक्षा,अधिकार तथा आत्मसम्मान को बढाने हेतु मार्गदर्शन किया। इस अंतरराष्ट्रीय वेबिनार मे राज्य के अन्य विभाग अध्यक्ष ,समस्त जिलाध्यक्ष और महाराष्ट्र राज्य के समस्त हिंदी अध्यापक गण,गुरुनानक काॅलेज के प्राचार्य  डाॅ बी॰ एम॰ बहिरवार सर,विद्या निकेतन के प्राचार्य आशीष कुमार झा,चंद्रपुर प्रा (CSE)डाॅ आशा अंभैकर, डीन, स्टुडेंट वेल्फेयर, कलिंगा यूनिवर्सिटी,रायपुर, प्रा शबाना मैडम,जव्हेरी महाविद्यालय, बल्लारपुर जिलाध्यक्ष प्रा सुशील भाटिया  तथा समस्त जिला कार्यकारिणी ,तथा देश-विदेश से भारी संख्या मे लोग उपस्थित रहे।
